About the Founder
Ben Shabatian
CEO and Founder of MEDS
As an undergraduate at Queens College, Ben combines his passion for bioethics and healthcare to inspire future healthcare professionals to tackle real-world ethical challenges. MEDS was founded on the belief that meaningful change begins with conversation. Through debates, guest speakers, and discussions, Ben aims to build a global network of students dedicated to ethical decision-making in medicine. Ben believes in taking initiative, even with uncertainty. “Every action, big or small, creates change. If something doesn’t go as planned, it’s a chance to learn and grow.” Through MEDS, he’s fostering a culture of compassion and accountability to shape the future of ethical healthcare.
